Rocket Performance Becomes First PSR Products Authorized Dealer

PSR Products is proud to welcome Rocket Performance of Ontario, New York as an authorized dealer of PSR’s full line of Modified chassis, parts, and components. 

Owned and operated by 2018 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Rookie of the Year Tommy Catalano, Rocket Performance has become PSR’s first authorized dealer and will provide a full line of PSR’s industry-leading products to the Modified racers and more throughout the northeast.

“We are proud to build the PSR brand to new levels over the past few months and we are extremely excited to bring our products to the racers of the northeast with Tommy and his entire Rocket Performance team,” said Phil Stefanelli, owner of Midland, North Carolina-based PSR Products. “From our first meeting at the track back in February through today, we have built up a great relationship with Tommy and his family. To see everything come together to bring our products to the racers of the northeast really means a lot to all of us at PSR and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Catalano’s first experience with the PSR line of products came in a chance opportunity at New Smyrna Speedway in February of 2020. After a grueling week of Modified action, Catalano was in need of a ride for the final night of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at the Florida half-mile, and the PSR house car was available. From then on, the relationship between PSR Products and Rocket Performance has grown exponentially.

Now, PSR and Rocket Performance are bringing their mutual commitment to excellence to the racers of the northeast.

“Earlier this year down in Florida, I had the opportunity to race the PSR car the last night and I was really impressed with what they had going on,” said Catalano. “When I got back home, I had a lot of people interested and asking about PSR’s products and chassis. I realized then that the PSR name and quality was getting more well-known up north already. More and more people started asking me questions on what PSR had going on. I decided to talk to Phil and see where we could take this. I went down south and raced his house car a couple times and I just wanted to bring the great quality of PSR to the racers up north. A lot of them have already been racing PSR’s products, but I just wanted to bring it even closer to them.

“The PSR quality is the highest you can find. Their parts and components are made from the best materials and are priced affordably for every racer, which is a huge deal for me and for the customers of Rocket Performance.”

PSR Products’ complete line of suspension parts, engine accessories, and interior and exterior components will be in stock and ready for the northeastern racers at Rocket Peformance. Catalano is also taking stock of PSR’s all-new Modified chassis that has already seen success on the track in the north and the south.

“An important piece to the puzzle is being able to race and trust the products that you’re recommending to your customers,” added Catalano. “If there’s something that is on your car and you’re running well with it, a lot of eyes are going to be on it. It’s easier for customers to believe in something that is proven and when the company that builds and sells it stands behind it. PSR wants to provide quality products at a reasonable price and do whatever it takes to keep their customers happy. That’s the same mentality I have with Rocket Performance. It’s just a great partnership.”
