PSR Products and SPAFCO Partner to Provide Superior Service to Modified Racers

Continuing its promise to provide the Modified racing community with superior race cars, parts, and customer support, PSR Products is proud to welcome legendary Modified racing company SPAFCO Race Cars as an authorized dealer of PSR’s complete product lineup.

SPAFCO, based in Preston, Connecticut, will be an official repair facility for PSR race cars and will stock all of PSR’s industry-leading components to outfit any Modified from bumper-to-bumper.

“The winning tradition that SPAFCO has made it a perfect fit for the PSR brand to spread its wings into New England,” said PSR Products founder Phil Stefanelli. “We’ve seen tremendous growth thanks to the on-track success of all of our customers over the last few years. At PSR, we have a Modifieds-only approach to our growth and I know Ken and his team at SPAFCO are Modified guys through and through, making this a perfect fit.

“Adding SPAFCO to our dealer and repair network is going to be huge for our current PSR customers in New England and will be exciting for our new lineup of cars that will be hitting the track in that region in 2023.”

SPAFCO has long been a name synonymous with success in Modified racing. The organization has fielded championship Modifieds under the watchful eye of the late Art Barry and has built some of the most decorated Modifieds in history. Now, his son Ken is at the helm of the organization that continues the winning legacy.

Bringing PSR’s lineup into the SPAFCO tradition is a winning opportunity for all Modified racers in New England, the hotbed of Modified racing.

“Partnering with PSR, we’re able to spread ourselves out a little bit more and bring new products and new people into our shop,” said Ken Barry. “PSR builds a really good product and I feel like being able to repair PSR cars and help PSR’s customers in our area makes us a good fit for what Phil is trying to do.

“We’ve been doing this for as far back as I can remember, and my father was doing this since he was a little kid. I certainly don’t want to see the sport of Modified racing die. This is another opportunity for new people to come into the shop and give them something else to work with. This gives more people to come through our door and new ways for them to win races on the track.”

SPAFCO will stock PSR’s full product lineup just in time for build and repair season as the 2022 Modified season comes to an end. New PSR cars will continue to be built at the organization’s North Carolina headquarters and SPAFCO will continue to also service their current customer base. SPAFCO joins B&R Fabrication of New Jersey in the PSR dealer network.
